About
I paints in oils, on canvas in a fairly tight style... striving to accurately depict the subject without loosing the artistic quality in needless detail. The aircraft or subject of the painting is secondary to my goal of a stunning visual effect. An effect such as the underside of an A-6 Intruder being illuminated by light reflected from the ocean below, the sense of altitude of an OV-10 Bronco over rice paddies or the transparent windscreen of an F-4 Phantom made opaque by the sun’s rays.
Recently I was honored to be presented with the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame award for the 2022 Artist of the Year. I have also won the prestigious Experimental Aircraft Association’s Par Excellence Award. In addition to displaying my art at the Air Venture Museum in Oshkosh Wisconsin numerous times. He also won First, Second and Third place awards at the First Annual Art Soup Festival in Elk River, Minnesota.Lundby's paintings have been displayed at the Simu Flite facility in Dallas Texas and have appeared in both Flying and Sport Aviation magazine.Terry studied at the nationally recognized Schroeder Art Studio in Elk River Minnesota."I was raised in Fertile, Minnesota, a wonderful, small town.
