The McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II stands as the definitive land-based variant of the legendary Cold War fighter, distinguished primarily by its integration of an internal M61 Vulcan 20mm rotary cannon. While earlier Phantoms relied exclusively on air-to-air missiles, the hard-learned lessons of the Vietnam War necessitated the addition of a gun for close-range dogfighting. This "E" model, which first flew in 1967, also featured more powerful General Electric J79-GE-17 engines and upgraded APQ-120 radar, significantly enhancing its multi-role versatility. With its signature sloped-down "anhedral" tail and upward-swept wings, the F-4E could reach speeds exceeding Mach 2.2.

All prints are created on demand and signed digitally. On demand printing alloys each print to have individual messages, birthday greetings or callsigns to be added to the print. The Standard Stock photo paper is an outstanding value, while the Fine Art paper adds texture and depth to the work. All prints are sold unframed but sized to fit readily available poster frames. Of course the print can be custom framed locally to your specs. Prints are mounted on a quality mat board and shipped flat... and the shipping is included in the price.
